Performance data will only be collected and reported if it can be used to actively measure the performance of a service and support continuous improvement.

Additional performance will only be collected if there is a legal or regulatory requirement for retaining or reporting.

Performance information will be automated. It will be collected and reported live through dashboards that allow all staff to understand how well the council and services are operating.

Data, which includes performance measures, will form the basis of continuous improvement priorities.

Data and performance information will be used to anticipate demand on services; to allow resources to be allocated effectively and efficiently to meet that predicted demand.

Data and insight will be connected to the CRM to help manage intelligent workflow and job allocation.

Our policies and strategies will adapt to the changing needs and requirements of our users, and will not become blocks to the council delivering against its design principles.

We will consistently refer back to the corporate objectives and priorities to ensure that we stay on track.
